Roughly 25+ years ago a man by the name of Charles Sutton was hired by a
Minnesota company that sold Fire Pump Test Meters and HVAC systems. He
spent most of his time there trying to improve the industry and the processes
around fire protection and Fire Pump Testing.
You see, Charles is an innovative thinker, and a pioneer in this industry. He is
also a working man, so he goes by Chuck... Well Chuck actually found a way
to "build a better mousetrap". The Fire Pump Test Meter is a pretty basic piece
of equipment, it hasn't changed much over the years, but it did have. Chuck
knew how to fix those flaws, but it would require R&D, as do most new
concepts. When his requests were denied, he knew he'd have to go on his
own to make these types of improvements, thus ending his multi-decade
career with this employer.
In 2006 Chuck formed Global Vision Incorporated, and made that "vision" a
reality. He partnered with select companies to develop his patented meter
technology, and the result is a far superior product. Not only did he improve
the Flow Meter itself, but also the way the Venturis are produced to ensure
accuracies and tolerances that are almost unheard of.
